The Conservative Arts: Welcome to Hillsdale College

Ever since the Vast Right Wing conspiracy reared its ugly head on College campuses, I have wondered why they arem't doing more to discredit "liberal" ideas and "liberal" professors. As I understand it, "liberal" is an ideology that has been unfairly shoved down the throats of patriots and common sense folks. I have wondered why they aren't building Conservative Arts colleges to win back and compete with the liberal arts for students.

What I didn't realize is how many of the conservative arts schools there are. Consider Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan. If you visit the website, you will be invited to join the campus on a College Cruise around the British Isles with a Fox News anchor (the bastion of "fair and balanced"). Perhaps they ask Fox News anchors to teach their ethics courses? What a refreshing course that would be!

You won't find any liberal pabulum at this college. No Women's Studies, African American Studies, or Peace and Justice Minor here. Aren't you tired of all these damn special interest groups thinking they are more important and valuable? But you can study: Christian Studies and European Studies.

I think this last paragraph is what really distinguishes a Hillsdale College edutation from the liberal nonsense ripping our country apart:

The College values the merit of each unique individual, rather than succumbing to the dehumanizing, discriminatory trend of so called "social justice" and "multicultural diversity," which judges individuals not as individuals, but as member of a group and which pits one group against other competing groups in divisive power struggles.

Thank God a college campus is finally trying to unite us by fighting the antagonistic, Looney Liberal message of helping the poor. We all know the "Social Justice"is code for "Socialism," and hence an enemy of liberty. I mean, after Katrina, I think we should all be clear that the real danger to our country is the power of Black single mothers to demand goods, money and resources based on the fact they are Black, rather than because they are unique individuals.
Hillsdale College no doubt deployed a team of dedicated rugged individualists out to help the victims, who had so far corrupted government, education and FEMA through "social justice." Certainly the most serious threat to our country after Katrina was the threat to our ownership society. After all, the discriminating black poor people who took it upon themselves to take food and water--that they did not earn--sent a horrific message to America: "we can have whatever we want because we are Black. That is what Social Justice and Multicultural Diversity is all about!"

I don't know about you, but what I can't understand is why any reasonable lover of liberty would ever apply to anywhere else? Why spend $47,000.00 a year at a "liberal" arts college that dangerously participates in this social justice and multicultural diversity hullabaloo. I mean, each time you teach a class on the Middle East or China or, hell, somewhere like Venezuela, you are giving into those non-European thugs who hate liberty, Capitalism, and you. Each time a professor teaches you some of that non-violence heresy, you are weakening the values of our European empire. Moreover, you are not with God!
